Rooto Work · compared
A Spoke (formerly Circuit) alternative for the driver who pays their own way
Spoke Route Planner, which was Circuit until October 2025, is the app most drivers try first and it is easy to like. The complaints that drive people to search for an alternative are the same three every time: the price of the tier that has the features a working day needs, the hand-off to Google Maps or Waze for the actual driving, and what happens when the signal goes. Here is where Rooto Work stands on each, in plain words.
The short version
- One price, all of it. Time windows, "do this first", voice and camera stop entry, status, notes and photos are in Rooto Work at the single price. In Spoke, as published in October 2026, time windows and voice or camera entry sit in the Standard tier, not Lite.
- The driving is built in. Spoke plans the route and hands each leg to Google Maps, Waze or Apple Maps. Rooto drives it: lane guidance, speed limits, speed and red-light cameras, hazards, CarPlay and Android Auto, one app from the first stop to the last.
- No account, nothing in the cloud. Your days live on the phone, never expire, and export as a spreadsheet when you want them somewhere else.
- The day keeps working with no signal. Skip a stop, change the order, get rerouted after a wrong turn, search an address: all on the phone. Spoke needs a connection for the plan to change. The two-minute test shows the difference in one parking lot.

Where Spoke is still ahead
Two places, and we would rather you heard it here. Spoke has proof of delivery with signatures and a PDF today; Rooto Work has the photo and the note at the door, and the signature is on the list. Spoke has a team product with a dispatcher's screen; Rooto Work is for the driver who plans their own day. If your dispatcher assigns routes from a console, Rooto Work is not yet your app.
Switch in two taps
- In Spoke, export the route as a CSV, or select the addresses and copy them.
- In Rooto Work, open the planner and tap Import for the file or Paste for the text. A name column becomes the stop's name; a note column becomes the note at the door; a time becomes the window.
- Tap Best order, then Start.
It works the other way too. Every Rooto day exports as the same spreadsheet, so trying Rooto Work for a week costs you nothing in routes.
What it costs
Rooto Work is a tier of Rooto Pro: everything Pro does on every drive, plus the day planner, at one price with a 30-day free trial. The current price and the founding-driver price for the first 500 subscribers are on the Rooto Work page.
